What To Expect
What To Expect at Your First Appointment
Finding the Right Therapist for You
Whether this is your first time in our office or your first time receiving counseling, you likely have questions about what to expect. It is important to find a therapist who you feel comfortable talking to and who has experience that will help them help you. To begin, we recommend reviewing our Therapist Bios to see who interests you.
Our front office staff is extremely knowledgeable about our therapists, their specialties, and personalities — and they are here to help match you with the right fit.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
What to Bring and How to Prepare
Please bring your insurance card and a valid ID so we can make a copy. There will be some paperwork for you to fill out, so we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early. You can also print off and fill out the forms ahead of time by visiting our Client Forms page.
We will ask for current medications and provider information, so please have that handy as well.
